Hey guys,

I have a 2003 SRW layed out on 22's with a 265/35/22 tire. I have flipped BJ's and Air Ride Tech shockwaves in the front. I was changing my upper BJ because it was "clunking" and realized the lower is loose in the control arm. Looking at it, it appears the BJ may be maxing out when it down all the way and tweaking the BJ. It's been bagged like this since 2003, and has 43,000 miles on the set-up. Has anyone else had problems with the lower BJ?

I'm planning to rebag it with RE7's up front to get more lift and am thinking about getting another set of control arms and flipping them upside down and switch sides. Rework the steering stops and plate them for the bags. The BJ mount kicks down and this would make it kick up which would help the BJ angle.

Any Thoughts??

Thanks,
Ryan

We normally pie cut or re-angle the balljoints on some vehicle to get your articulation angles back to a factory spec when using factory arms. A good set of aftermarket control arms will solve your problems.

Well after further inspection I have AirRide uppers and lowers, flipped BJ's and Tie Rod relocater. Not sure how I'm going to go about fixing this yet.
