If I go with 22's, can I get by with stock arms and 3" spindles and still lay? What about 24's, what does it take to lay the front on 24's? On my truck my skid plate hits before the rails so instead of doing a Z, I was thinking of trimming the crossmember and moving the skid plate up so it will lay, anybody do this? I really don't want to Z as I have very little hood clearance right now with my ac comp. and my edc, not to mention relocating a bunch of other bs. With 24's, do you have to raise the fender lip or do you get enough lift to clear while turning? What size bags does it take to get enough lift? I think I am running he7's right now, is there enough room to run 8's?

Anything else I am missing? Tie rod clearance? etc?

Are you laying out on your 19s? If so whats tire size? 265/35/22= 29.3

Most of the time you can lay out on stock arm as long as you trim the frame behind the spring pocket for the control arm clearance.

24s is a whole different story. You will have to either narrow to track in the front to clear the lug nuts or raise your fenders to clear them. You will need to make your control arms work by radius/pie cut the ball joints or just buy aftermarket. Tubbing fenders and relocating all the BS under the hood on your truck.

hey lock that is just an issue with bd trucks right?
is it still that bad if you just wanna lay?

Yeah just BD trucks have this much work. If you are going to the frame it isn't as much work but there is still some relocating work to do.
