OK so heres the scoop... I bought my wheels and adapters as a combo. The guy I bought them off of said they were on an 04 Ford. After looking at the charts that LockOne posted I just figured they wouldnt fit... upon that assumption I also assumed they were 8x10 lug adapters. In my best efforts to get rid of these things, I posted them on C-list... within three hors I had them sold for $650... Boooya right?
Wrong!
I met up with the guy, he took one look at them and said these are 10 lug, I thought to myself, ya dummy. 8 to 10 that what you wanted right... I said yeah. he said "No" the centers are 10 lug... Which led me to my next comment which was something to the effect of... WTF! I never noticed that was the case... So call me what you want to call me... it was a retarded moment on my part. So my question is... What the heck are these 10 to 10 adapters for? I need to sell them and change my dang post but I dont know what to change it to.

UPDATE
-------------------------
Well it looks like these are off a FORD superduty, but I still cannot find a place that sells them to get a good base price to sell these for...

What do 10 to 10 adapters go for?

Need some pics.

I have never seen any adapters like you are talking about.

Some F350s and all 450s have a 10x225 lug pattern on them. The problem is this lug pattern is bigger than the hub bore on the normal 10 lug wheels giving you several problem with bolting the wheels on and centering the wheel on the adapter.

Here is a pic of the front I snapped... These guys are huge so I put a CD in the middle to show you.

WOW.

Never seen any like that before besides some that I tried making. The problem is that the smaller 10lug pattern is outside of the hub bore for the bigger 10 lug pattern. You will have to machine clearances in the wheels for the smaller 10lug studs and nuts to allow the wheel to center itself correctly on the adapters.

Are they the dually adapters for the 10 lug fords? You know the part that spaces the front wheels out?

Should be 10x225mm and around 7.25" hub bore.

Measure across btw the centers of 2 studs for us, so we know what the 2 bolt circles are.

I will do this here in a few... I am at work and just happen to have them with me.

Looks like about 8 3/4

Are both bolt patterns the same?
