i have an 86 squarebody dually and am ziing the frame a couple of inches.
what has to happen with the steering?
are you doing forward cut in front or back of steering box?

you will cut before the steer box.....

You will need to replace the steering shaft from the steering column to the box. It will need a couple of joints and a support to jog over the upper control arm.

i been told you can use the steering shaft from a astro van an it has the joints in it you need. i plan t try this out when the time comes.
