2" drop on a 84 chevy 1/2 ton

My buddy has a 84' sb 1/2 ton he wants to lower 2", what are the options for parts? Spindles or springs? shackles or hangers? I have never messed around with one of these trucks so I don't have a clue on what the best way to lower one is.

If he wants 2" all the way around, then springs and shackles will be the cheapest to accomplish the stance.
