It's just your basic 5/7 static drop with helper bags. You can run bigger than 19's also.

So my assumptions are correct that the static drop is the best way to go for my application?

Next questions is brand and site to purchase from?
Anybody sites give credit to this forum for purchases made due to info found here?

Yes a 5/7 static will give you the look you are aiming for and the most dependability. For a better ride though but the same stance, a bolt on airbar kit from air ride technologies is the ticket, although very pricey. I have had one for like 10 years now and never an issue with it, it is now modified though to lay frame and I run triple stack bags on it and it rides even better. You are talking 2 grand for the kit and a belltech notch though. Before I went that route, I had a flip kit and helper bags and had issues with them rubbing, onefasthoagie on here has that kit now and I believe he is running slam re 6's on it which I think took care of the rubbing issue.

By the way, mine is body dropped and I tow a 10,000 lb bumper pull camper with it with no problems besides the lack of power from the poor excuse of a motor, 454. Gm detuned that thing so much to meet emissions it is pitiful.

This is exactly the info I need. Although I have a 99, you've asked basically the questions I need answered too.

One of "MY" concerns though that has not been asked by the O/P is that with towing so much weight and going Bigger in Wheels - I am not aware but is there a Load Rated tires for 19s or better yet 22s? that are not Big Rig, so low Profile or lower profile then the Big Rigs in order to fit within the fenders front and back and not rub with a Static drop of a 5/7. Is load rating not a concern?

Thanks and Sorry for the Newbie questions, hopefully my questions also helps the O/P too.

Subscribing for more info.

I have always been concerned too about load rating on tires for my 19's and even the low pro 16's I used to run. There is more weight on the front tires when not towing a bumper tag trailer than no trailer at all because of the tongue weight is actually taking weight off the front end as the rear axle acts as a pivot point, kind of like a teeter totter. A gooseneck trailer will put some extra weight on the front as usually the ball is like a inch ahead of the axle as I remember. With the rear axle taking the grunt of the weight you are spreading that weight over 4 tires, so I never worry about the rear being overloading the tires, unless you are pulling something you shouldn't be. The stock hitch on my 2000, is only 10,000 with weight distrubution bars, and that is only 1000 lbs tongue weight. I don't know the gooseneck ratings for the truck but I would imagine it wouldn't be over 12,000 lbs as my 07 diesel max's out at 14000lbs gooseneck rating.

All in all I am more worried about the front tires than anything.

If you are running 16's the 225/75/16's d or e range will clear on a 5/7 drop if you roll up the fender lips in the front, but as far as 19's there isn't much options for anything close to a d or e range tire. Anything bigger I am not sure, but I can't imagine there is anything that would fit that is a LT tire.

Thanks for the input krewzol, and I do agree with the power issues of the 454 is stock form.

That is my main reason for sticking with a lower cost drop solution as large amounts of money will be dished into the motor compartment. I have never done anything with trucks but HP and torque are easy to get with large displacement.
I have a ton of digging and a few calls to make to determine how to build low rpm torque but I have built several LS6 spec 454's in the past for cars that put out more in the end than what the original designed of 450 HP @ 5600 RPM and built 500 lb-ft of torque @ 3600 RPM.
