hey all, i was wondering what size air tank you all are running in your duallys? i was thinkiin a 5 gal would be fine but a few peoples i have talked to say get at least a 8 gal one, im really not to interested in loosing my spare tire and i really dont want to mount the take in the bed unless i absolutely have to, but the bed is a better option then where the spare is. this is my next problem to tackle cause my arms and bag mounts are almost all done.

I use about 10 gal between 2 tanks at 200 psi. But it all depends on your setup, how much air you need to lift, pressure switch cut in/out psi, etc. I always like to set up my tanks so that 1 complete lift to ride height will kick on my compressors. I don't like to have more air than that otherwise my next lift won't make it until the compressors kick on to finish up.

I have three 5 gallon tanks under my bed w/ my EDC. Originally had 2 on outside frame rail behind axel and added third tank, just because I had it laying in garage. It worked fine on 2 tanks.

I have had them with 12 gallons and 10 gallons. Just depends on the applications your truck is going to have. My daily truck had an additional tank because it has fittings for an air hose so that if we have to change tires on the roadside we can use the air tools.
