Steering stop with lowering spindles???

Was redoing my front brakes and noticed I don't have a steering stop. This has caused the caliper and brake line bolt to rub the bag. I have either 2" or 3" spindles and huge bags, not sure the size. Wondering what you guys use for a steering stop? weld a piece of angle iron on the control arm or something?

Most aftermarket control arms have them on back side of the arms. If not just weld a tab on and you can put an adjustable stop on there with a nut and bolt.

These are factory arms, but looks like someone cut them off for some reason.
