Hi all, i want to level out my dually, the fronts already dropped pretty good. Just the rear needs to come down a bit.

I need some ideas of how to get it lower, i thought about putting the axles over the leaf springs, how much of a drop would i obtain?

Heres a pic of my new baby.

It looks like the rear might be dropped a little too, maybe it already has hangers and/or shackles installed? If you install a flip kit with hangers and shackles you might get too much drop. Anyway check it out, and good luck! Nice truck!

Adam... Does your axle hit your frame?

how many inches did you lower the front?

Thats about how i want mine to sit when im done with it, i cant really afford bags right now.lol

i to would like to know if it the axle hits the frame? speed bump clearance?

where can i get a flip kit from? i searched around but didnt really find anything for the 1988-1998 chevy trucks.

How would i know if it has hangers installed already?

Im pretty damn new to the truck scene, im used to lowering corvettes.

Heres my old car, before the dually.

If it has hangers, you can tell by the hangers being bolted into the frame, and the spring eye along side of the rail, as opposed to below it. the originals are riveted in.

No, If it didnt have the notch the axle would rest on the frame.

What did you do to flip your axle? jsut take the axle and put it on top of the leafs wihtout some manufactured kit?

And how big of a notch did you put in?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to decide what i want to do, and i really like the stance of your truck.
