24s turn radius = crap!

Alright guys... Today is the first day I have driven my truck since I put the 24s on I had to do a 14 point turn at McDonalds to get through the parking lot. Actually it was three, but the people behind me were none to impressed.

Tomorrow, I was gonna install some 3/4 ton hubs but if it is going to eliminate more of my turning radius... I am not doing it. I would rather buy new tires since I am running 295/35/24 and put a 255/30/24 on there instead but I still do not see the turning radius getting much better.

Has anyone taken cut out part of the frame where it hits?

Three point turn in a truck that long isn't all that surprising. People get so pissed off anymore if you do anything that makes them 3 seconds late to get home and watch Springer. When people get irritated for something so little as a person slowing down and putting on their turn signal to take a corner, you'd think they never had to turn before, ya know? I say...fuck 'em.

Im with rich, plus even if they do get irritated enough to honk, no ones gonna mess with a truck as big as a dually!
people tend to get out of my way on the highway

Hell my turning radius sucks with 16's. I cant imagine 22's or 24's. Maybe its my DJM spindles? Good luck anyway!

Agreed, mine has 16's and at CTC this year
in MS the group was heading down a 4 lane
divided and wanted to make a u-turn. They
all made it no sweat but I didn't. I swung it
way right before even turning left in middle
of intersection and it still wasn't even close.

I'm with Rich. To hell with 'em. Let 'em wait. Sometimes if I'm feeling asshole-ish and if I know someone's getting extra pissed, I'll go that much slower.

I just tell everyone k turns are cool. Doesnt bother me a bit.

hell yeah let them wait....then when they get up beside you lay on them train horns that really pisses them off

LMAO... my favorite train horn incident was next to this guy getting a road BJ in stop and go traffic. I still couldnt tell you whose cheeks puckered more.
