Selling my dually this week and I am looking at a replacement. '98 chevy single rear wheel 3500. Wondering what I'll have to do to fit semis on it. I searched the threads couldn't find an answer. inners will hit the frame/leafs in the back? What about the front as well, will my wheels be pushed in too much to turn?

I have a 79 SRW 3/4 ton I converted to a dually, I used 3" factory hub adapters for the for the front. All late model DRW trucks use 3/4 ton rotors with a hub adapter. This is what I used on mine. The rear is close with the adapters about 3/8" clearence from the leaf pack, I then used a 1/4" spacer to push them out that much further. So far no issues, only trimming was done t the inner wheel wells on the rear.

I am pretty sure on the 98 model you are going to have clearance problems on the inner leaf pack no matter how thick your adapters are. The front will sit inside the fenders pretty far and will need to be pushed out around 1-1.5".

Thanks for the info, may or may not pass on this deal and wait for something else to come along.
