I dont have any pictures yet, but i need some help, i had put the western chassis flip kit on my 85 c30 a while ago and left her parked. Last night i put it on the lift and my cousin helped me weld in the cnotches, well when we dropped her down it dropped all the way down till the pumpkin hit the bed floor and this is extremely too much drop. The shackles are stock and the leafs were holding up great when it was in stock form. I removed the top overload leaf and just did the flip as normal. any help would be appreciated, thanks

The flip is an automatic 8" drop, my 86 was like this and it was great other than having to cut a hole in the bed floor to clear the pumpkin from smashin around. The only draw back to running helpers is that you will be running/floating on the bags all the time and when they decide to go you are back where you started. To compensate for the rear being low, I lowered the front an 1.5 lower, most of you guys know that driving a static drop 1 ton with 1" or 2" of clearence under the front control arms sucks, but it did change the rake of the truck and put the rear up higher. Good luck!

This is where the shackle/hangar combo comes in great minus the flip.
Just my 2c ...
