I'm getting a stock length 14 bolt to use for my conversion till it's bagged on semis. Im using stock 1/2 ton leafs. Where I'm stuck at it weather to use the 454ss flip kit for the 14 bolt or 3500 flip kit. I'm planning on gettin the conversion underway in roughly a month so I need to know what to order!! Help meh!

What makes the flip kit different from one truck to another is typically the rear axle because the saddles need to fit the size of the axle tubes. So if your 14 bolt is a full floater (in other words from a one ton, dually or not, or a 3/4 that came with the FF) then you need the flip kit for a 3500.

The 454SS flip kit will be for a semifloating 14 bolt which may or may not have smaller axle tubes, can't remember, haven't really worried about comparing them. My guess is that flip kit will not work for you.

As far as the leafs all these trucks 1500, 2500, 3500 use the same width leafs, just taller stacks of 'em...
