I need help. I am not sure what shocks to run. Do any of you have any good recommendations on shock types? I am looking for the best of the best. I want the feel of a bad ass sports car. Please help me with some idea's. Thanks again for letting me pic your brains......

This topic has been brought up a number of times with not a lot of responses. I've posted it along with others.
My lowering kit is a DJM so I went with DJM shocks for it. I've always been a stickler for keeping everything matched so that it all works together & if somethings not quite right the company can't blame somebody else when you call them.
I like the feel of mine! I still have to install the front sway bar to see how that works with them.
Also, from talking to different people, when you lower or raise a truck or car, you need to go with shocks that are made for lowering or raising of that vehicle instead of just generic stuff.
Just my 2 cents!

I almost always use Bilstein B8 shocks. There's a bunch of different sizes and mounting styles. You have to know the collapsed and extended lengths. I used to have a catalog with all of their off the shelf sizes-- and there was usually something that came pretty close. I imagine you could call and request a new catalog.

Also, if you're using with air bags make sure you use the comfort series as it has faster vavling.

By the way you can use the stock rear shocks off a 2000 chevy C3500 and use them on the front and they work great.
