I have a lowered truck but the ride is very bouncy. I am looking to fix that but Im not sure if should just do drop springs or if I am better off doing air bags in the front. I know the cummins is heavier than the 454 that was in it. I just dont want to buy new springs and have the weight of the engine make them sag real bad. I am looking for some input.

Thanks

sounds like you might need new shocks. i have a cummins in mine with stock springs and it rides no different then it did with the 6.2L.

When I bought the truck it was already lowered so I'm not sure what kit i have. The springs have spring boosters put in them. The coils look like they are pretty compressed.
