I have a 90 C30 I am planning on dropping a 49 body onto. The track width for the 49 should be 56-57", how can I drop the 90's track down that far? Any ideas. I know about swapping to SRW hubs, but how much more will I need. Can I just do it with wheels? I would like to do a 17 up front and a 22.5 out back. Plans are not too low, custom bed with narrowed rear axle. Probably chop the cab about 8". Big block with spray and AT. Just getting started now, but trying to decide if I am gonna have to do some kind of front end swap, and run a SRW style wheel. Any thoughts?

Narrow all the crossmembers and bring the rails closer? Might have engine clearance issues though. Don't want to narrow the control arms too much as you will lose turning radius. How much narrower do you need to go? Not sure what they are stock.

From what I can find the 89 dually track width should be 63.3" so I would need like 6.5".
