I used dynamat extreme in my truck and its for heat and sound. works great. my exhuast almost touches my floor and i have 2 layers on my driverside floor board and it just gets a little warm. Its expensive though.

i know a guy who line x his whole cab inside, talk about taking the sound out.. that fucker was quiet.. lol he didnt pay that much eitheir around 400 i think... brought it to them stripped out so all they had to was strip and spray...

I used two boxes to do mine and i did the whole firewall and floor and i have two layers in some spots.

hmm never thought of linex or rhino liner...... that might be a good idea, now was that stripped compleely of wires and such or did u wrap those?

the dash was still in places he had door panels and carpet and seats and interior panels out just wrapped dash and steering wheel... and sprayed... gave it about a 1/8- 1/4 build up on the floors and rear wall the sides and around extended cab glass they just kept around 1/8 so that everything could snap back in place and not be binded up...
