Square Body Crew Cab Headliner swap tips?

I've been working on my 89, getting ready to swap interiors from the parts truck. I got the old headliner out, and it's apparent it has to be done with the seats out at least. Is it possible to get it out one of the doors without bending it if both seats are out?

yea it will fit without bending it with the seat out.. its very tight and tricky though. you have to fold it alittle but not to be point to where it bends and messes up the headliner board.

Cool. I was envisioning drastic steps like pulling a door or windshield or something.

One thing for sure, it's a big job removing the interior from a crew cab, and I'm doing it twice. I'm starting to think a couple mexican blankets draped over the seats and some floor mats would have been fine

The swap went well. Had to fold it but it straightened right out again.
