I would also suggest checking hotels.com/expedia/travelogency?/ and any other places like that. They buy rooms in bulk sometimes and could have something available even if the hotel itself sayes it's booked.

Anyone coming from the north and want to caravan down there let me know. We are doing it in one night. Leaving late Thursday night 9-10pm and driving straight through. Will probably be about 15-16 hours of driving. Currently we could have 6-7 trucks either driving or pulling a trailer.

We try to sweet talk one of the girls @ the desk every year @ the Ramada and end up getting a room or two every year. We might end up shacking with you Chris.
