ánd now i'm back in holland again to tell about it , as a couple of you know i bought a set of 22's and a lot of airride stuff the last year and the time had arived for me to go pick it up and send it to the schipper .
i got to meet a lot of verry nice people incuding trevor and chase .
i landed in the states last fridag and things didn't got off at a good start since my connectionflight got delayed 6 hours and they managed to lost my suitcases .
i needed those the next day because of a party i was invited too by the tennesee classic carclub .
it ended up as me renting a car in arlanta and drive up to nashville to pick my suitcases up , luckily the party was in whitehouse .
after the party wish was a great succes i drove the car to winchester and met up with trevor
i whent to the adress he gave me and stoot in front of an empty shop wish turned out to be the office / deliveryadress , wish did caused a bit of panic on my end (does tennesee wheel and tire exist ?)
whell it turned out to be false alarm , yes it does exest and trevcr was willing enough to come over and pick me up on a sunday and take me with him to the actual shop to load my stuff in the rental .
got to look around there a bit and have to say he has a nice business going on and is a realy nice guy , there was one item that had a recal and there where a set of dropped spindles lost but he takes care of that within the two wheeks the box is still waiting for shipping .
after getting the stuff from trevor in winchester the trip whent on to camille georgia to meet up with chase and pickup my wheels .
i contacted him before and he was willing to not only help me with the wheels but allso made the crate to ship everything in
i been at his new place and i have to say he's doing allright for himself
one thing i hadn't solved yet was how to get the stuff to the shipper in Dalton .
the first thought was to get the rental 4runner back early and rent a uhaul truck the rest of the way , that wouldn't work cause alamo wasn't located there .
driving back and forth wasnt an option so we came up with another idea : putting a towhook under the rental .
the only thing still left to do was getting the building material and the trailer from Uhaul and start working , chase thanks again you been awesome helping me out like you did
we made a box strong enough to prevent any damage and if he ever has to stop doing sheetmetal and painting , he can take up carpenting no problem and i got on my way to Dalton to deliver it .
all and all i was in the states for 5 days taking care of business and meeting a lot of realy nice people along the way , the only thing i regret is not being able to go to one of the bigger carshows , wish i will at another time i visit the states cause that WILL happen again soon
