Time to rebuild the GBD auto transport unit (fancy sounding isnt it?)
Bought in may of 06
454 BBC
hypertech chip
3'' Flowmater exhaust
K&N filter
auxillary fuel tank
tranny coolers
throttle spacer
Hauled with it for a year before i dropped it.
Did a flip kit in the rear with a tubular gooseneck crossmember and 2600 helper bags.Theres spindles and coils up front
Last year coming home from Layin down the law the torque converter was having trouble locking up so i knew it was time to rebuild. Plans are to:
Rebuild tranny
new waterpump
new radiator
electric fans
new O2 sensors and fuel filters
valve cover gaskets, oil, plugs, 8mm plug wires, ect.
I also plan on swapping the grille for a 96 and throwing on a smoothie bumper and new tailgate. If i can find a set of fender flares they will go on also. Later in the year my brother is gonna repaint it solid white with the b pillar blacked out.
Gotta have all this done for dragfest, im wanting to bag it too but i dont think its gonna happen before the show.

sooooo sloooow but i made progress. Trannys back in and i got the frontend on
I also got the new waterpump on and painted a few things.
Next is elect fans, new fenders with flares, new tires and new tailgate.
