I am getting ready to bag my truck and am not sure which way to go. I have been on here and other sites looking for info on a chevy front clip/chevy control arm conversion and just using DJM beams and bags
Anyone have photos of the actual suspension set up for each of these options and pics of the trucks with wheels on to see the difference in drop between them.
This will be my first bagged project so I am looking for as much help as possible

what size wheel and tire are you going with. And are you trying to get it to lay?

If you don't want to make it lay but get it low on air. i-beams work fine. if your trying to make it lay on a 24 lets say. Then swap the front clip.

i-beams are a bitch to deal with and alignment is always close at best on air.

Thanks guys. the truck is actually an F250 and I am running 22s.
The pic of the Excursion is abou what I am looking for. Anyone know what size tires on it to compare O.D. to what I am running.
would the notch shown on the Ex be ok for me to run? I don't have a problem cutting the bed floor if I have to but would rather not if I can get by with out cutting
How much for the front and rear brackets 4 link and notch?

The stockers are comparable to a 22 with a larger than 265/35.22 tire.

The one we did has all the stock floor in the back. The pumpkin just touches the floor when its fully layed out. You should be able to get away without having to cut or notch the bed floor and tubs.

if you run a 265/35/22 you would be pretty close to laying running board.

I am currently running a 295/45 22 with an over all diameter of 32.4"
I dont mind the extra height of the tire, I would rather it "look" lower because it is tucking more of the tire than actually being closer to the gound.

I may have to change to a diiferenttire size once I get the work finished. Might have a few rubbing issues

The F250 that lays 26s that rocky did at chaotic, used in-house fabbed a arms that I made but using the stock ball joints, I'll see if I can locate the pics, cuz someone posted them on infamousnissan its a pretty sweet build, as for the 295 vs 265 google a tire size cal. And compare but I think ur 295 is about 2-2 1/4ins taller.
