Should have covered it... Can't really have people seeing a ford pulling a Chevy.

I am not worried about the ford pulling my chevy. You got to use what you have at hand at the time.

Are those Frito 19.5"s? I really want to get my hands on a set for my dodge got any leads?

Hehe, Frito 19.5's, first time I've heard them called that but it instantly made sense. I have a set on my '98 as well, though the dish of the wheel looks more like a regular 16" - ya know, less "rounded" on the profile, more like the shitbox dually 16" wheel and how it sorta looks like a clay plant pot. Jeez does that even make sense?

We've been translating low's posts for years. You 2 make perfect sense.

I know what you mean, where'd you get yours?

I was wondering the same thing about those wheels.

They look cool.

Anybody know what's the lowest profile 19.5 tire available?

Pretty sure mine came off a heavy duty step van, I'm pretty sure the difference in styles is just a year/era difference. Mine might be up for sale after a while because I'm re-building my yard wrecker on a 3500HD platform which of course has 10 lug 19.5's, so I won't need the 8 luggers anymore. You can get 'em from Ricksons Truck too, but they're like $300/ea for steel $500/ea for aluminum.

Campy, I think the shortest 19.5 you can get is a 225/70/19.5, which isn't really all that short - about 31.5". I've got 245/70/19.5 on the truck right now, which are around 32.25"

EDIT I went and looked at a thread where y'all were recommending some 16" sizes to help clear, the 225/75/16 is 29"+ so really I guess a 225/70/19.5 at 31.5" isn't a HUGE difference, but obviously would matter if you're getting ready to smack the A/C on your square, or having a hard time laying out. But you gotta admit they're some damn tough looking wheels.

They look great without trim rings and caps too, like ybnrmal's pic, in fact I would skip the 19.5 trim rings that Ricksons sells, that's what are on my truck and I took them off because just a trip down the street and they're trying to let go. Chinese shit
