Sorry to hear about your bags let us all know how it turns out. Trucks looking good. glad to see someone else working on mother earths natural shop floor, My shop stays full all the time so i had to wind up building a leantoo for the dually to go under just so i could get atarted taking it apart. but anyways looking good. Gen X
Finally got to work on the truck again and wanted to let you know what the outcome was. First let me start by saying the entire process from getting an RA # to receiving my replacement bags was very easy. I was able to deal with one person during the whole process and he could not have been nicer and very understanding.My. return was probably a little unique since the bags were purchased in november of 08 and not installed until a month or so ago . The only issue that was a little neg was that they no longer carried the same style of 3800 bag's like I had (dif mount spacing) so he suggested the denom 2's so I looked at them online and agreed to try them. My concern during the whole thing was exactly how much I was going to have to pay out of pocket for basically brand new bags to be replaced. I would have been ok with splitting the shipping but in the end all I had to pay for was the 9.00 to ship the defective bags. Oh and since I left the 3/8 fittings on the defect bags they also sent me new fittings at no charge. I really was not expecting to get good customer service from all the stuff you read. The bags look to be built pretty good( I got a deal on some slam RE7's so they are the only thing to compare them to except the firestone 25c's I have) They ride about the same as the re7's but I have put them on the rear only because they have a single center mounting hole on the bottom and I felt better with them there. So I can honestly say I am happy with the outcome and the quality and ride of the new bags, I will update more pics and let you know how they do with some miles on them as the dually will be my daily for the next month or so. I dont know if it matters but the person who handled my issue was Kenny, and it has made me feel a little better about possible future purchases.
Just a quick update pic of the rear, This is a temporary set up using 1/2 ton monroe rear shocks (The cheap ones) actually rides really good like this.
Not only does Pizza Hut have pies for 10.00 bucks they also will throw in for free......
After getting the law invovled the kid finally came back(yes, drove away like it didn't happen). Good thing the teal was imbedded into his tail light for proof.
