dually conversion question

I just sold my slammed truck and Im ready for the slammed dually world... but not ready to get 8 miles to a gallon just to look cool. So can I take a longbox crew cab 2wd 1500 and put a dually box on it? I want to slam this truck and put the 22 semi wheels on it. What suspension stuff would I need? do they make adapters to go from 6 lug to 10 lug? Or do I have to search for a dually rearend and hubs off a dually? Just trying to see what the easy way to do this is Any info on this sure would help

Best thing to do is swap the 1/2 ton suspension to the 1 ton suspension. Depending on what years you are planning on getting everything bolts right up on most and some require some minor fab work.
