Well,

I've been working, albeit slowly, to get the HD back looking good. It was in Street Trucks Aug, 2005 and it's all be downhill from there. I picked it up wrecked from my friend who built it. It was already flat black at this point. So I swapped the front cap and have been working on getting the bed repaired. I've never been a fan of a notch cover, especially on a truck I plan to use. I'll let the pics talk.

The bodywork in the gate was coming back so I reshaved it.

Then it was wearing tires bad so I redid the arms. Eric from LSOH made me some new BJ cups.

Then I bought a new bed that was completelly stock but wrecked on one side. So I cut my existing rt bedside off(the only usable part of that bed)

Then bodydropped it 4.5" to clear the notch and make room for gooseneck.

Then got it all together. I want to get the hitch installed and paint it before summer.

Then the body work started. In those last couple pics you can see the front end isn't stock. I clipped it with a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 front end, but kept my stock wheel openings and flares. The bumper is 2 piece instead of 3 all sheetmetal with a factory lower valance. I have a few more pics of things if anyone wants to see anything in particular. The Wheels are Milanni Kool Whip 8's 24x9.5 wrapped in 285/35 fronts and 305/35 rears.

3M bumper repair to narrow valance 4"

I'm looking to do the same front end on my 2001. What did you have to do to the hood?
