A few questions

First of all I am planning to do a engine swap from my 454 to a cummins. Question 1 What is a far price to sell my great running 454 for? Question 2 What is going to be my best option for the cummins? which cummins should i be looking for?

I just did this swap in my truck, Look for a 12 valve Cummins because there is no wiring for the engine. I sold mine for $650 but I just wanted to get rid of it.

I used a 96 12V in my conversion, It had the newr style P Pump and no Electronics to hook up, BBC's sell $500 to $1000 depending on milage and accessories.

Thanks guys. I know it will vary, but what can i expect to pay for the 12V? Also This may seen stupid but will the factory gas fuel pump work? And any hints would be awesome. Thanks guys!

ive seen quite a few 12v going in the 800-1300 range.

the 1st gen 12v have a fuel pump that runs off of the engine like a carb engine. Some people use an external pump like an air dog or a fass.

Its a pretty easy swap. I did mine a few months ago and I haven't had any issues.
