Here's my fun adventure over the last few months. I buy this truck from my brother that he just bought months before that. Within 2 weeks of replacing the spark plugs they're all gunked up again, so my brother and I with basic automotive skills and having never rebuilt an engine, spend about 3 months tearing down the motor, having the heads rebuilt, and putting it back together. We just finished on wednesday last week, and we had previously planned moving day for saturday morning. So I get about 20 miles of test driving and the power steering goes out, damn hydroboost the brakes are dead too. At this point we really don't want to work on the truck anymore, too much packing to do. So we have it towed to a shop, it barely fit on the tow truck. The next day we get it back, drive it another 30 miles or so before the trip.So with 50 miles break in period, we drive it 900 miles with a fully loaded cab and bed from los angeles to bend, Or. It ran great the whole time!
