thanks fella's, nandrus who did you get your motor mounts thru? or did you just fab something to work?? i know some places have conversion kits for'em motor mounts, alternator, and a/c pump brackets..what radiator did you use also, the one from the cummins or the stock one for your truck?

Looks like its gonna be a fun build, and looks like its moving along well. I stockfloored my 92 and am doing a 12 valve swap. Not sure how much hood work were gonna need tho. I'm considering swapping to an 05 gmc nose for the clearance of the hd hood but sure I'll still have to cut it. For motor mounts I'm using the factory ones off the dodge and trimming them till they fit like I want em. For alternator I'm keeping factory and wiring it with a ford external regulator by far the easiest and cheapest way. A/C don't know what to tell you, I trashed all my factory gm stuff, planning on using a hotrod standalone setup with the factory style compressor to keep it all simple. On the radiator I'll have to look, I think the dodge and chevy inlets and outlets are opposite. I intend on using the dodge one but if it is easy to hook up I'm sure a big block radiator would keep the diesel plenty cool.

I got my mounts for Autoworld MT. I figured it would be easier and less of a headache to just buy some because they were only like $350 for the mounts. I used the stock dodge alternator and got a external regulator. For the power-steering pump i got it from a P30 van that had a 4BT in it. For the radiator I used the Chevy radiator and got the factory dodge inlets and outlets brazed on by a radiator shop because the cummins has a lot bigger inlets and outlets than the chevy.

sweet thanks for the info yall, yea i am worried bout my hood clearance aswell.. i know ive seen other swaps with them with stock hoods but the stockflooring of it might have brought it up some hopefully i wont have to get a cowl or anything but if i do no big deal..i cant wait to get the motor and start down that road, ive always been more into metal work than mechanical stuff, but at least the Diesel motor is a Hell of a upgrade from the big block..
