On my way to Texas right now to buy my new Dually!! 87 Chevy silverado, white, almost flawless paint, no rust, no dents, power everything, cruise, ac, everything works 98000 original miles, no cracks in dash, interior is super clean, with the exception of headliner starting to come down, two owner truck with the factory camper shell, which I will quickly pull off it. He wants 3800, which I think is already a good price, but I'm gonna try and to get it for 3300.
My 9 year old daughter came up with the Trucks name. She asked what color it was and what I was gonna do to it. I said its white and I'm going to lower it down. She paused for about a second and said....white like snow.....and your gonna lower it down.....Snowfall daddy:) So there it is!
I'm gonna lower it 6/8, helper bags, powder coat stock rims black chrome and put some of locks spike lugs on there, shave embems, but keeping trim, shave bed stakes, maybe drip rails and/or doors. I want to section bumpers along with shaving bumper bolts where I have nice smooth chrome bumpers. Those are the plans for now........ Of course it could change. But I want a semi stock look with some custom touches, some subtle some not so subtle. Tell me what you guys think!! I'll post pics soon!
