Got the rear frame cut off. Bought a c&c rear that wasnt what it was supposed to be oh well. Got the old rear out of the frame we cut off, and now i think i am just going to stretch the fenders, and reuse original rear end. Cant beat the dana 70 hd, with detroit locker!

wide load c-30   +1y
Why are you back halfing it?

Frame was rusted through in 3 spots, so I didn't think it was worth saving. Probably going to get a little crazier with the build!

When guys back half a dually it's usually so they can run 4 semi's without having to mess with the fenders. I would reconsider running the stock rear. If you decide to keep the stock rear and body drop you will have to go both wider and taller with the fenders.

I going to run 4 semis, no body drop though! going to stick with the stock rear and stretch fenders. The rear frame was just to rusted to save it.

Ok here is a little update. Frame is completely stripped, so it can go to sand blaster. I may have to find another stock front x member, mine is really rusty on the inside. Have not done much more to truck its self. However I did build a frame table that is almost complete, to put this on when it comes back from the blaster!

Here is a little update, got some of my parts over to my shop. Started cupping the lower arms, ran out of gas for the welder or they would have been done. Hopefully going to be ordering some more parts soon. Still need to take stuff to the sand blaster, hopefully progress will pick up soon!
