building fenders for my doolay ms. alldatazz..

finally gettin time to build the doolay fenders for my 79' chevy shes got a stockfloor frame and 22" dima k-turbo wheels.im goin out and up with fenders.468bbc with a towing cam..been on this trk off and on for bout 5yrs..this is my first time ever working with fiberglass..few friends came to help mockup the fenders.since then ive been workin on em solo dolo..pics that everyone posted here before has been a big help with me doin these..thanks guys.layed down 3 layers of mat and cloth before takin off and layering backside should be sanding and layin some evercoat fiberglass mudd soon.hope to be at layed out at the park driving this beast.

preciate if guys..fiberlass is some nasty mess to work with no way around it..im layering the tips today..had to cut out a few airpockets i found..

this is why decided to do my fenders myself this is what i got back from a shop that claimed to be expert at fiberglass work..used to be two fenders..luckily i had a second set at home..all he kept tellin me after he got em with a stack of printed off pics from here.was he didnt see how he was supposed to do this mod

Stock rear? 16

preciate it..yes she has a stock rear and 16" inners..kept 16s cuz she will be towing my car trailer and possibly a double car trailer some day..

looks good any progress? and arent the inners a different overall diameter? hows that work

what hood is that....i bought a 2 inch cowl a few weeks ago for my dually and my alternator still doesnt clear it...your hood looks to be big enough

the tire on the 16" matches the tire in height on my 22" semi wheels..cantremember the size..thats a harwood 4" cowl hood its pin-on but they make a bolt on model....
