is good to know this bro thanks.... is gonna get Z'd im just trying to see which way is gonna be better and still be able to run my 454 in there and im really thinking about doing what i said 3 inch Z and 1" or 1.5" sectioned xmember and still cut whatever hangs passed the 2X4 that is gonna be welded to the inside of the frame....

i pulled my cab last night to start my bodydrop....im gonna be cutting down the top of the frame and moving my body mounts down.....no Z on mine as of now.....going with 4 inch BD....i would have z'd it and cut bottom of frame off but i dont wanna redo my entire rear setup to make the rear axle go 4 inches deeper in the notch

well she's oficially under the knife now..... i pulled the truck in the driveway where is gonna be getting most of the work done supported on jack stands and started to drain all the fluids here are some pics....

i started to disconect all the wiring, fuel lines, so and so im hoping to have the engine out by monday or the latest tuesday i have to remember to tag all the wiring and lines so i can remember how to put it back together lol this tbi models have way more wiring than the older models....

finally! i was able to pull the motor out i been working long hours and no time to work on the truck but is out now next im gonna drop the tranny and pull it out from under since it leaks a bit of fluid from the pan gasket im gonna put new seals on it.....
