Thanks man! Ill have to hit him up and see what he knows abt them I'd like to get two more to swap out the freights that came with the set! Only reason I call them rare is that I've never seen a set running around before and besides Trevor's that you mentioned is the only set I've ever seen cut down..

I dont recall see'n any body else with em, for the guys that really want a set of steel wheel's these would be a good choice to powder coat black.

looking good man. so,you be willing to get rid of those freight directionals then?

not sure if i would or not. I would kinda like to hold on to them so I could have a spare for long trips. but if I could find someone with a pair of five hole willing to trade I probaly would

got a little done on the truck this weekend, pulled the axle and ran a little bracing on the bridge. came from where it welded to the axle and wrapped the axle and up onto the bridge with a 1.5'' wide piece of 1/4'' also re enforced the upper link tabs on top of the bridge with a 1/4'' but didnt take any pic, also painted the axle and most of the notch, still gotta pick up some 3/8" plate to finish some gussets, also got the bed floor cut, fenders off, and cut out for the truck to clear the tires, fenders are just in place not bolted on in the pic's

Got the bed back off this weekend. Was able to find another decent bed floor in the junkyard. Bed is now around 6.5" deep! Got it braced up and welded in gonna mount my tank, compressors, battery under the rear bed floor at the rear. Also got the section of the bed cut out for the removable panel to allow me to use the hitch.

Gonna take the section of the original bed floor and cut to run as sides and sheet the sides of the bed too. Just cut a test piece to see how I liked it and now to wait on making my fenders to finish the sides.

And just a couple other pic of the bracing on the bridge from the other week!

Can't really see it but where the bridge is welded to the axle tube we wrapped the tube with a piece of 1 1/4" wide X 1/4" thick steel to reinforce it

thanks! More done this weekend!! I got gussets finished on the pieces of the notch extention, and crossmember, and plated my frame around 20'' at the notch, also Got my bed back on and spent more money... haha Gotta love picking up stuff from from forums and other buddies needing to dump some stuff! picked up 8 SMC 3/8 valves new for $160, a new dual pack of 480c's for $325, and a new AVS dual compressor wiring kit for $25. also had a buddie that works at the gas company pick up a piece of 8'' pipe and a couple end caps didnt really measure how long it is but guess its aroung 12 gallons, picked up the fittings and stuff to finish my tank and plumb my valves at the hardware store for $36. didnt take many pictures of the tank before i mounted it in the bed but its tight, had to slide it in through the wheel well, ive only got aroung 9'' inbetween the stock bed floor and the raised bed floor, and only like 7'' with the way the rear crossmember is built. now for the pictures. battery is only sitting inbetween the compressors to test them, will end up running a dual battery setup with one on each side of the bed.

been a little while since ive updated this, havnt gotten much done but its still getting a little love. finished plumbing the rear bags and wiring up the compressors, she moves on her own, but think the two 480s are gonna end up as back-ups. takes way to long to fill the 13-14 gallon tank. gonna throw a york on before i finish the front. It bothered me that you could see the directionals through the five holes in the rear and ended up buying two more five hole alcoas although they arent the matching accurides they are less noticable!

Has anyone bagged their truck just laying frame on 305/35/24? did ya have to raise the rear fenders?? I havnt had a chance to get mine in the shop to lay it out but looking in the yard the needed to be raised, and moved forward to center the wheels back up from where we 4linked it. im now thinking with the front completely layed out and adding bumpstops to the rear raising them was unnessacery.

also got the front clip off and inner fenders pulled, and threw on the drop spendles, had to throw the 24s on to see what the looked like and see how much we where gonna have to tub the fire wall.

My truck doesn't quiet lay in the front.....haven't made it lay cause if it goes any lower the a/c and heater will have to be removed and I'd rather have those than it sit an inch lower parked......the rear of mine lays out lower because of this....if the front on mine laid out the rear would sit higher cause the frame would be flat instead of leaning to rear.....Ben Shady's truck back in the day had 24s without raised fenders....but regardless your truck is lookin badass man....really like the hitch cover in bed floor
