Now for the part everyone likes when coming to this site, at least it's the part I enjoy.
PICS: (1)-This was My truck as recieved from first and original owner 180k. He was suposed to have had a sponsorship from Budwieser for his circle track car and used this truck to pull the enclosed race trailer. (2)- While I have had this truck, I have added DJM front beams and drop rear hanger kit. Also just 5 months ago I got the 19.5 wheels and changed to '07 front, added '09 tailgate, rear bumper and tail lights also replaced back seat for dual buckets to match front factory pair. I also have a couple pics of the parts that I will be using to make this truck just a little longer but much more unique. (3+4)-Donor cab section, complete with doors and donor frame section. I have been waiting for warmer weather as to clean out garage so I can get frame inside and start the C notch, 4 link and other mods to donor frame before it goes on my truck. This should save me additional down time by combining the frame stretch with pre modified rear frame section of truck.

So been working on the garage and back yard getting them all cleaned up. Not sure what was worst, the jungle or the mini bodyshop/man cave attached to my house??
But on a positve note, ordered my wheels. So the big girl is gettin new Alcoa Classic's, now to drag the donor frame into the garage and start cutting, fabing, welding and grinding.

A short update, as of 5/01/13

Adaptors just delivered via UPS, and holly hernia they are effin heavy! The frame has aslo made it to the drive way, poor thing probably feels like the "Jefferson's". It has been trimmed of it's unwanted front 5 feet and all spring hangers and misc mounts. It is sharing the drive with my truck that has been relieved of her 19.5's which were sold to help pay for "6" new Alcoa's & adaptors .
Wheels may be in later this week, this would be great as I have been offered a position at one our local off road shops and will start Monday. Will post pics of everything as soon as I can.

Small world after all I remeber you from back in the day when you lived here in Del Rio with your single cab Ford good luck on your build sounds like it's going to be a fun project but based on your skills as a painter from what I remember it should be no problem for you.

I must apologize for not posting in quite some time. As most of you know, the family and job always comes before our projects and toys. Here is a quick shot of the new wheels and tires, pulled the emblems off also. Door handles will be next, but I see a clutch and tranny needing attention soon. So with that in mind, this will turn into a longer project than I had anticipated.
