Just wanted to share with you guys what I did. Its called plasti dip and 100% removable. Kinda like a car wrap but alot cheaper.

Just wanted to do something different.

If you go to dipyourcar.com you will see that alot of people are dipping cars in the north and theres also people in Europe dipping there cars. Im assuming you meant in the colder regions. I had my window pillars done for six months and had no issue. But I live in Florida.

it looks wicked, but in the constantly changing weather up here in southern ontario it doesnt fair so well. my buddy dipped afew parts on his car and it looked wicked but after about 6 month it started to get water under it. but for the price you can't go wrong, even if you have to fix a door or a fender, peel it off and redo it

Nice i thought about doing mine Blaze orange or the new Koi orange. how many gallons did you have to use?

I did it with cans. I used about 20. Dont have the exact count cause I did my wifes wheels and badges on her car. I still have to do the bed lid and I think it will take about 3-4 more cans.

looks great, however i like the silver too.....silver is always clean IMO! i have been contemplating this for my truck as well...i live in jacksonville so i'll be interested to see how it does for you....i have a ways to go before i am ready to do body and paint on mine
