What's up, I need a little help. I've worked on many things but not a 1 ton dually. I have a 1985 C30 crew cab dually, and was wanting to lower it as cheap as possible. I know this isn't the best or even the right way but I want to drop it now. In the future I will notch and bag but not yet. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank-you
Mike

welcome man. any pics of the truck? and, that question makes me cringe everytime. i say do it right or dont do it at all. you should never take a shortcut on any suspension setup, let alone one on a 1 ton truck. if you want to bag it just save. you can hunt down used parts. spindles, shackles ect...on these sites, ebay,cl and what not. good luck.

Springs and shackles will be the cheapest way to lower the truck.

There is a posting that pops up on CL out here (Vegas) every once and while for OS (old Stock) from a shop, he sells BellTech Spindles 3" fopr 175.00. Every time I try to come up they already sold. Funny cuz I never see lowered SqBdy's here.

175 for belltechs ? wow they run like 515 or so directly from them. if its legit, thats a steal.

Thank you guys for the help, with the good advice I think I will go with spindle, shackles possibly a flip until I can save the dough like big bear said. So onto the bodywork to smooth out all the sings.
But one thing does anyone have a drivers rear dually fender,(fiberglass)
