Is there anything I should be aware of when using milled 22.5 to 22" on my static drop King cab?
5" -7" drop
I have 4 -22.5 slotted alcoas that I need to have cut down to 22's.

Should I pay the extra coin to have them sent out and milled? Or can a local machine shop handle the job.

It needs to be someone who has done
it before, but that's just my $0.02

If they are done correctly, they are just a safe as the original form of the wheel. If they are done incorrectly and lackadaisical, they could potentially fail and the consequences could be bad.

I wish I could count on my two hands, the number of wheels that I have had to replace for customers who have had wheels machined incorrectly by others. Also with most machine shop they do not have the equipment to accommodate the large diameter of the wheels.
