Finally got my 2000 Chevy Crew Cab Dually lowered. I used the 5/7 kit from DJM. The metal bump stop pad on the axle is smacking the angled portion of the notch when I hit any size bump in the road. Does those pads need to be removed or do I just need to install some helper bags, or both?

Which bags do I need to get? I'm being told different things from different people. There are two for my truck?

Any help would be great. Thank.

Yes, remove that large pad from the top of the rear axle. Youcan put a small bumper under the frame notch that will perform this job if needed. My 1997 Chevy Dually is the same way.

I removed the pads from the top of the axle, but which bags do I need to get? There are two for my truck and everyone says something different.

The rear air kit you need is the Belltech #5007, here is the link:

The air compressor kit with tank and guage you will need is the AirLift #25690, here is the link:

This is what I have on my current 97 Chevy Dually, I also used this system before on three other like trucks. I can tow anything and never it has let me down. I am sure there are other kits available for it but this is what has worked for me for many years.
