1989 CHEVY DUALLY DROP KITS

I have an 89 chevy c3500 and want to lower it but dont want a flip kit does anyone know if I can use a shackle hanger kit on rear of leaf and a 2" drop hanger on front of leaf for a 6" drop? If I do need a flip kit how does that affect load rating?

The shackle and hangers will only get you 4". Flip kit does not affect tow rating. When i first bought mine brand new I ran a flip kit and some overload bags and towed up to truck capacity with no issues at all. Now I am bagged and bodied on 24's and will be towing 10000 + lbs.

I found a flip kit that has a 6" drop and no c section its only $135 its the right drop but I want to do it right would you recommend this kit. thanks

Without a notch with 6" drop it will bottom out all the time.

they had a kit with a c-notch but it was an 8" drop what is a c-notch and can I do one and maintain a 6" drop. thanks

I now now what a c section is gonna stick with 3-4 drop
