Hey Guy's...."Merry Christmas".....Ive got a question and have looked everywhere for the answer with no luck. The rear shoes on my 1998 Dually needed replacing, so I purchased part # 452 from the local AutoZone. In the box is a pair of thick shoes and a pair of thin shoes. My question is which pad goes where. I remember years ago when my Grandfather taught me how to replace shoes, the differences were pretty obvious (short shoe toward the front, long in the rear). But in this case both shoes are the same length and on my truck have worn evenly

.....Figured it out.....The shoes I got from AutoZone were a mixed up set. All four shoes had the same length and thickness of friction material....
"Happy Holidays" (Rear shoe friction material is longer and thicker than the forward shoe)
