8.1l heads on 7.4l

is it possible to do a straight up swap using a set of 8.1l heads and intake manifold on a 7.4l?

Dunno but I'm curious. What are you hoping to accomplish with that swap? I don't have the specs of either heads in front of me but it sounds counterproductive at first thought.

thats a negative, the 8.1 has 18 head bolts.. versus our i cant remember, but its less...

yep. they use the cathedral style ports of the LS motors.
