Hi everyone,
looks like a great site here. I'm a Mazda owner since 1985. My first mazda was a 1983 sport truck. My second a lowered 1986. I'll post picture once I get a website to host them. My third and current one is a 1990 Mazda b2600i 4X4. I'm the original owner. I've looked at all the new stuff and frankly I can't find anything I like better. So it's time to rebuild the beast. I already have a 3" body lift and some bigger tires and wheels. Here's what I'd like to do to it and I'm looking for parts and help.

First off I want to rebuild the engine. I would love to put performance parts on it but there not any that I know of. (Not into an engine swap)

I'd also like to do a suspensipon lift. I found some info on this site waiting to hear back.

The interior has to be done as well. It has a bench but I want buckets and hopefully some with a lower profile seat. I'm 6'3" and I sit a little high in the cab. I also want to put the other gauge pack in. With a tach. Mine is a basic truck and has no tach but I know they made a gauge package for the le and se. Does anyone know if it's a direct exchange? I was told the wiring harness is already there just needs to be put in.

And then of course body and paint. I'd also like to run disc brakes all the way around.
It looks like must of you are more into the lowered trucks but any helps is very much appreciated. Or if anyone knows of a forum or site for 4X4 mazda's that would help too.

welcome aboard im sure there are several ppl on here that could help you in you inquires about suspension lifts and the disc swap , as for seats you could get your self a set of mx -6 seats or you can find a set of buckets out of a se5 -or -le5 mazda truck. I THINK you can easily put the tach cluster in your truck but i think it requires wiring into the tranny so it can see the rpms as you change gears (i MAY be wrong bout how that goes but its the genral idea) We just started this site this summer and we are fresh on the scene not to many ppl have come here with lifted trucks but we hope to get some ppl on here who have tinkered with thier suspensions to lift thier trucks .This site is open to all static , bagged , lifted enjoy your stay with us and we hope to see some pics!!!

the tach runs off the coil not the tranny and i think most 90 models have the wire already there for it just need to find one as for the disk get some chevy 4x4 front rotors and have the center hole honed out and it will fit then you just have to fab up calber brackts and stuff i was gone do it befor i decided to go with a swap and 5 lug ill see if i can find the site

Thanks guys. I think I can get some of the stuff I need from mazda auto recyclers. I got a fender and bumper from them. (I loaned my truck out to my girlfriend and she got ina pile up on the freeway. It bent the front inner fender and a fr4end pounded it out. I'm hoping I can have that replaced. ) Looks like at least I can get another 2 inches out of torsion bars and blocks that might be enough. I lowered my '86 that way. The ride was pretty rough. I wonder what raising the torsion bars will do and if it will make things too loose for off road use? any ideas?

i dont believe you can post pics from that site because of access rules. like i said, use photobucket, they are the most reliable i have found. they even have the code made for you. but you did post them correctly, i check the coding...
let me know if you need more help
