Sup - Just thought I'd introduce myself...some of you may know me as dubz on ssm. Anyways I own a 86 B2000 which I am finally getting to work on after 3 years of it being used as a work truck and sitting in the garage a lot.

I'm sure I'll be asking a ton of questions, since I have never bagged a vehicle before. Hope you guys have the answers! hah

welcome to the bscene, don't feel bad about not getting to work on your truck.....same way with me working 6 or 7 days a week leaves no time to work on the ride!

Well here is a lil background recently on what I've been planning.

Wheels: I bought some 06 escalades (18x8 +31 offset) all to be told that they won't tuck in the rear. So I am going to be selling those and probably doing a 18/20 combo, due to my buddy that is going to be doing all the welding and what not on my truck having a set of 18" lexani's that hes going to give me. He is saying he has a guy that will fill the lug pattern in and re drill them? which I have never heard of but he says this guy will do it.

Suspension: I am planning on doing bags and later body dropping the truck a few inches. I am debating on where to mount the bags since before it seemed like most people did above or behind the axle and since I haven't been paying much attention I am now seeing people are doing them on the 4-link due to better ride and more lift?

Exterior: I just want everything shaved...do a tailgate skin and rollpan the usualy I guess.

I really just want the truck on the ground, I have limited knowledge when it comes to welding/cutting and air ride in general but my buddy is pretty experienced (mostly with cars though no trucks), so he's going to be helping me with the project. I typically like clean looking trucks/cars so thats what I'm going for.

Any suggestions from you guys would be great.

Currently what I have done is..........I've removed the bed and thats about it

What I am really looking for suggestions on is the front bag mounts/brackets...the front seems to confuse me more than anything...maybe if you guys have some pics of brackets mounted? Also I've read about people flipping ball joints and what not but I'm not clear on what that helps with or when its necessary.
