Hi,

Just found this cool forum

Amazing that a community exist for these old pickups.

Just got mine 1 week ago. Its a 1990 B2200 diesel. Are the B2200's in the US diesels or petrol?

Apart from some rust work that needs done, it'is in pretty good shape, with 210.000 (approx. 131.000 miles) km on the clock.

Biggest problem here in Denmark/Europe is the total lack of aftermarket parts

See ya.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say all the 1990 B2200's in the US are petro (gas). Many of the California trucks had fuel injection but the rest of the country (including Canada) were carborated. A diesel B2200 - Interesting. Wonder if it has any more power than the gas engine (85 hp). Can't imagine something with any less

welcome to the site.

mazda's were desiel at one point - in the late 70's early 80's (til like 84) they offered both gas and desiel.

btw your lights are yellowish- time for new ones:) Shipping parts will be a pain if your lookin for body parts . IF you need interior parts look in our mazda parts section . I do have interior parts forsale here but imagine it would cost some to get to you plus hold up in customs .

JUST PUT YOUR list what you need and someone will be bound to have it or know where to find it .

welcome aboard.

In Denmark the B2200 is most common in the Diesel version.

It's a 2,2 litre, with a whooping 65 hp (yes, sixtyfive....)

But, tourqe is very good, you can literally start it in fouth gear.

Cheers

Welcome! From your pic it looks like your signal lights in the bumper are clear driving lights, is that correct? Looks like a nice truck. Any pics of the engine?

No, unfortunately it is very limited what is allowed to modify on your car.

We have to take a MOT every second year, and will fail if suspension, brakes, etc. are modified. Also, it is only allowed to increase engine performance with 20%
