hey all.. I'm located in Woodstock, Ontario. name is Rob... a few of you have welcomed me on another site too...
I picked up an 87 B2200 auto from North Carolina a couple of weeks ago. got it home now and the bugs need to be worked out. I was relieved to find 2 or 3 great forums on the net. I figured I'd be SOL, thankfully not. the white is a metal flake.. you can't see it from the pics but it's very neat looking in the direct sunlight.
it runs a bit rough, smokes a bit and needs a bit of tuning, it's very laboured right now with a loss of power. Hopefully, I can get that all worked out really soon and be driving a clean reliable mazdawg again.
I've owned 3 in the past and a 4th parts truck. 3 were cab plus, one was reg cab ... all were manual trans.
pretty much everything that I wanted to do back when it was actually happening "back in the day" (i'm 37 now) but couldn't afford, has been done on this truck i picked up. excluding a 302, targa top and walkthrough. now really sure what the future holds for me on this one.. we'll see. i'm mechanically enclined on a kind of survival level as opposed to a custom level.. LOL
primary goal right now is to get it running properly and get some of the power back. then we'll see....
i'm probably going to strip the interior and get it back to relatively stock. the gold is a bit over the top for me.. I'm also not too sure on the hood mural LOL
