another new guy from the northwest!!!

hey everybody my name is ken i am from federal way..i have a 92 xtra-cab b-2200 that im working on ...it's my 4th mazda and this one i am planing on keepin for awhile...i've been doing hydraulics on all type's of old school cars for 12 years.... but i want the movement just not with all the weight that hydraulics has to offer so i decided to do bag's on my mazda....this will be the first.... still doing my reaserch on everything... any imput about what style of 4 link i need to build or buy would be great......thanks

Very nice lookin truck man, welcome to the site. Most seem to do a triangulated 4 link. Bag on bar or over axle. Check out the vendors here on the site and you can see what is available. Also look through the project threads and you'll find plenty of ideas and info on how to set it up.

If you want to keep your gas tank in the factory spot you'll need to do either a wishbone 3 link, or a parallel 3 link with a panhard bar or Watt's Link.

welcome to the sight. truck looks super clean. like 1hotdawg said you see a lot of triangulated 4 link set ups. you could pretty much to whatever though. if you need any help most of the guys from clearance issues are down in tacoma and we're all willing to give you a hand.

when i got the truck it was 6" higher ,clear windows,and stock mazda chrome wheels with the balloon tires.....i still not 100 percent satisfied with the wheels but they'll work for now i just figured the next step was bags then body....and yes i'd like to keep my gas tank in the stock spot...but i noticed that it's lower than the frame....so i might move it up if i can cause plan on throwing sparks on the freeway when this is done....the wish bone on the top for the 3 link....does is have a piviot point where it mounts to the crossmember for side to side action?....thanks to everyone for the input so far i apppreciate it!!!!

baddawg253 build a sick 3 link for his truck and he can hit sides. he did a tiny c notch too so he didnt have to cut up his bed floor. his truck is super clean. i cant find pics of it right now but he's got lots of them you just gotta ask to see them.

welcome man.. i did a wishlink on top and had a heim jount at the crossmember and bushings at the axle and the ride was really good, i ahd bag on bar at the time so got sick lift and it did sick sides as well, there was no stress on the heim jount at all...
