Recently bought my first mini that was not an S-10. Fell for the B2200 to start a new project. I picked up a 88' extended cab 4 cyl 5 speed. Looking for any tech tips on getting it lowered asap! Anyone in the San Diego area that isn't busy is more than welcome to help out. Plans for the truck include the normal typical things: bagged, bodied and a set of 20's. Also if anyone has a tip to help out the tick in the engine, it would be apprieciated.

Welcome to the scene. These trucks are easy as heck to lower. Lots of threads here on it. Just use the search feature. Blocks and twisting torsions is all ya need to do.

Thanks for the welcomes. Already started with the process. Put a set of 3" blocks in the rear and cranked the torsion bars down. Put and indash in it and now it kills the battery almost instantly when I turned the truck off. What a bummer.

agreed on the pics. and the tick in the motor is just a lose lifter, i had that in my 2.6 L motor and i just kept changin oil till i found one that made the tick stop lol, right now im using a semi-synthetic oil blend. works great for me. But in order to fix the tick in the motor all you need to do is pop off the valve cover and then just figure out which lifter it is that is tickin and tighten it. just my 2 cents.
