Hello new member from jersey..
Picked up a 1989 b2200 5speed cab plus 90k 2wd on it.. as a shop truck
Haven't been able to take pics of it been rather busy with other projects.
on list of things to do:
Index torsion bars lowering blocks just got for a static drop..
Wheels will do 16x7 and 16x8 rears unless i am able to fit x10 with rolling cutting??

I also need to check out why i am smoking in the morning heavy white smoke for a few minutes then it stops.. idles and runs perfectly fine.. I am suspecting a faulty head gasket... did a comp test real quick 175 across... going to do a leak down over the weekend when i lower the truck..

Last mini i had was a 86 turbo toyo pickup>

WELCOME bro ..

The white smoke is most likely The rings have gone bad in the truck . you'll just have to take the head off and do a ring job on the truck. what happens in the morning the engine is cold ( thus white smoke) after truck warms up it will heat the chambers and "seal" to a degree the rings. You may or may not see any smoking after you've had the truck running for a while ( 15-20 mins) Any ways hope this helps . i am just over the state line about 1.5 hrs . in lancaster co pa .. but as of late spending alot of time in Ohio . hit me up any more questiongs i will try to answer or direct you to someone who can help you better .

I figured it might be that.. going to order up a full gasket set rings and bearings.. t belt w/p ect... not trying to spend crazy amount just want a reliable lil shop truck for the next few months.. was holding a chance since its lower millage it wouldn't have the ring problem yet..

but hey thanks...

here is a link on a feature i got earlier this week.. all of my work... < not a stranger to tools.. :

I would post a new thread for that question, there are some threads in the wheels and tire section that might hold the answer.

Thanks but i tried searching and my wheel measurements are a bit different the whats being used..( not looking for flat faced) ill just lift the truck up and measure.. not even that hard that way i know how much i have to roll or cut.. time being spend searching i can lift take off wheels and measure.. was trying to order wheels today but ill wait till Monday..
