hey guys, names justin im 22 and live in salt lake city...big into mini trucks just never owned one till now.
just bought a 86 b2200 single cab. 74k origonal miles... clean as hell in my eyes...

catch is.... it dont run. kid sayed blew coolant bypass hose @ water pump, it got hot and he shut it off... never ran again...
truck has new water pump and timing belt now, his mechanic said it was he head gasket. i just got it home and checked it out real quick. getting spark, cranking over has compression (havent tested with gauge though)
im a mechanic so i dont think should be a big deal.... any common issues i should check before i pull the head??

me and a couple buddies will be doing all the fab work ourselfs. have bagged a couple trucks to date so this looks like its gonna be an easy project.

this is my other truck, and untill i get my B up and runnin it will continue to be my DD... sure sucks getting 13mpg. haha so hopefully the new mazda will be runnin soon...

Yah man me eather! Ha its just a ugly thing now. I'm impressed with how damn clean it is though. It shows its age though for sure. Gonna get it running and buffed hopefully this weekend. Get the wheels cleaned up and get it static dropped hopefully too! Tear will be cake. Front is kinda iffy to me though.

how hard is it to static drop the front on these?

welcome man. clean lookin trucvk. and itscake to lower them in the front. just crank the torsion bars. or get drop spindles lol.

bam. got it runnin, took the stupid bug shield and mud flaps off, took all but2 leafs outta the rear. and got it all buffed.
